MassCEC seeks proposals from qualified contractors for Contract No. MACEC-FY26-02, New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal: Phase 3 Bulkhead Replacement (Site 4), which will take place at the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal.
The scope of work includes site demolition work (utilities, and structures; existing cellular coffer dam structures; pavements); marine infrastructure construction (bulkhead, pile-supported relieving platform and other structural construction), dredging and disposal; miscellaneous earthwork excavation, grading, and erosion control; miscellaneous utility work, site fencing, and erosion control and track out controls, and construction permitting coordination. All work is expected to be performed in the winter of 2026 through spring of 2027, as subsequent terminal expansion projects will commence in spring of 2027.
