Triple Decker Cost Estimator

MassCEC is seeking qualified construction cost estimators with experience in renovation, addition, and new construction of 1-4 unit residential homes to provide peer review of cost information provided for nine (9) finalists in the Triple Decker Design Challenge.

Cost estimators will: 

• Spend no more than four (4) hours per application. Anticipated total of nine (9) proposal reviews. The number of applications may vary depending on application volume.
• Confirm that major categories of costs have not been left out.
• If larger cost items seem to be more than thirty percent (30%) lower than expected, revise estimated cost range if time permits or notify MassCEC of concerns
