MassCEC, in partnership with the City of Holyoke and the Town of Somerset, recently released a pair of studies looking at potential reuses for the Mt. Tom, Brayton Point and Montaup coal-fired power plants.
These studies were aimed at assisting the communities in conversations with private plant owners, who will make the final decisions regarding the future of the facilities.
