Abode Energy Management (Abode) is seeking a part-time Inspection Scheduling Associate to join our growing team. In this flexible remote role (20 or more hours per week), you’ll make outbound calls to schedule inspection visits with customers. Summary/Objective
Abode ensures insulation and air sealing projects meet Mass Save program standards through a team of nine field inspectors. The Inspection Scheduling Associate coordinates and schedules weatherization and heat pump inspections, contacting customers directly to arrange visits. This part-time role offers the opportunity to support energy efficiency and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Working closely with the Mass Save Inspections and Tech Review team and staff from participating contractors, this position’s responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling, Communication, and Logistics Support
    • Coordinate and schedule weatherization and heat pump inspections by contacting past customers and/or following up with customers requesting or needing an inspection.
  • Calendar Management
    • Managing inspector calendars for efficiency and priority.
  • Other tasks as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications

All candidates are required to bring the following skills and experience:

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and well-organized; able to manage multiple tasks systematically
  • Strong phone demeanor and communication skills; maintains calm and professionalism with all callers
  • Customer service or retail experience with proven teamwork and a positive, self-motivated attitude
  • Sound judgment in identifying and escalating complex customer situations to management
  • Comfortable learning and using software tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Salesforce)
  • Self-motivated by hitting or exceeding targets/call metrics


Any of the following skills and experience are a plus:

  • Experience with Mass Save or similar energy efficiency programs
  • Interest in sustainability, building science, or climate action
  • Knowledge of residential construction or building systems
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment
Benefits

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with hourly compensation targeted at $25-$30 per hour, depending on relevant skills and experience. The Inspection Scheduling Associate is able to work remotely and/or from Abode’s Concord, MA office. This position is not eligible for benefits or paid time off.
