Job Details
We build small wind turbines and take on hands-on R&D and prototyping contracts. Our shop does a little of everything: metalwork, composites, mechanical assembly, painting, and testing. We need someone who likes to stay busy, isn't afraid to get dirty, and takes pride in a well-run shop.
Day to day:
- Equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Mechanical assembly of prototypes and test rigs
- Painting, surface prep, and adhesive work
- Receiving deliveries and materials handling
- Keeping the shop clean and organized
Bonus points for:
- Machining, welding, or metalwork
- Fiberglass and composites
- Auto or equipment mechanics
- Industrial painting or coatings
- Basic electrical (wiring, troubleshooting)
- Forklift certification
$25-$40/hr depending on experience
