The city Supports the Mayor's vision of enhancing environmental justice and quality of life in Boston by protecting air, water, climate, and land resources. We also preserve the integrity of Boston's historic resources. Our work focuses on achieving carbon neutrality while working to mitigate and prepare for the effects of climate change, including flooding, sea level rise, and extreme weather.

The city is financially able to fund interns the city receives numerous grants to fund a lot of positions here in the city along with fiscal year budgets that are received every year.
The city uses and an Oracle payroll system where hours worked are populated in the data base to be paid by the payroll team. Which created W-2's at the end of the year.
