- Role Summary
OCA is looking for a machine learning and deep learning intern to join our team. This is a good opportunity to practice and apply your skills in a business setting. As a forward-thinking company, we are seeking an individual with a passion for AI and data analytics to help solve industry-relevant problems. The primary focus is to provide valued insight on the integration of AI and BI processes to enable OCA to better deliver high quality services to our clients globally. The role involves exposure to the offshore wind industry and ongoing internal and external projects from day one, and practical experiences will be supplemented by knowledge sharing, reading, and research-based tasks.
- Management Responsibilities
Day to day personal workload and delivery to OCA Business.
Participation in US team development activities.
- Technical Responsibilities
Delivers high quality and best fit solutions in AI and BI subject areas.
Researches and shares technical knowledge including documenting own work.
Maintains corporate ethos of unwavering commitment to delivering safely.
- Attributes
Enrolled on undergraduate or post graduate degree program.
Minimum one previous corporate internship experience – including reference.
Prefer candidates with previous experience in software integration, business automation, app development or machine learning roles.
Prefer candidates with interest or experience within offshore wind, energy transition or marine industries.
- Skills & Qualifications
Must be entitled to work in US but able to travel occasionally if required.
Must have strong understanding of Word, Excel and Power Point.
Preferred undertaking a degree in a Computer Science or Engineering based discipline with exposure to machine learning theory and applications.
Prefer candidates skilled in development environments, scripting, programming, database and other data handling software. Previous knowledge and experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Powershell, Microsoft Azure features and other Office 365 based packages would be advantageous.
