With expertise in energy efficiency consulting, architecture, and building science, we help our clients to build better homes, maximize energy efficiency performance and reduce construction costs. We work with builders, developers, architects, and homeowners to build ENERGY STAR, Passive House, and LEED-certified buildings while enhancing comfort and protecting the Earth.
This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual who is willing to work in a startup environment to learn new concepts in Energy Efficiency/Green Construction and show that s/he can bring immediate value to the organization.
This is a multi-disciplinary position, which requires office work, potentially some field activities, and customer interaction. We are looking for a motivated and energetic marketing/salesperson with a proven track record to help grow our business in the Greater Boston Area. If interested we will also teach you how to do energy modeling, field inspection/testing, etc. at a later time depending on your potential.
Responsibilities
- Systematic approach to identifying new clients
- Direct communication by e-mail or phone with potential clients and be able to close a deal
- Coming up with innovative new marketing approaches to help grow the new revolutionary AeroBarrier Sealing (ABS) technology
- Opportunity to help with Energy Modeling and Inspection/Testing in field based on need
Desired Skills and Experience
- Exceptional communication skills both in writing and verbally
- Computer savvy, sharp and meticulous
- Enthusiastic in Energy Efficiency and Green Technology
- Familiarity with Web design and search engine optimization is a plus
- Past experience dealing with builders and architects is desirable
- Background in building science, energy efficiency, and renewable energy is helpful
