Business Development Intern

Sunbug Solar, now part of ReVision Energy, is a full-service solar solutions supplier engaged in the development, design and installation of rooftop, canopy and ground-mount systems. Our commercial team offers solutions to a diverse customer base of businesses, landowners, non-profits and solar investors.

We are looking for a smart, capable and enthusiastic intern to help us develop commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communications skills, a collaborative attitude, and be capable of rapidly climbing a learning curve in a fast-paced work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the commercial team in developing a process for identifying and connecting with organizations with large solar targets. This will involve:
    • Tool research and analysis to help select optimal software platforms
    • Target identification using appropriate tools
    • Metrics development, enabling us to track progress and continuously improve our processes
    • Data collection and tracking using our CRM (MS Dynamics)
  • Develop/revise solar layouts using Helioscope. This will require that you gain familiarity with common obstacles and basic shading/modeling principles which ensure the accuracy of solar system layouts.
  • Develop/revise pricing models and proposals for solar projects using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Perform other tasks, as needed, for the commercial team.
