Parcels M and M-1 (7 & 8)

Parcels M and M-1 (7 & 8) are both owned by Boston’s Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (EDIC), located on FID Kennedy Avenue in South Boston, MA.  The site is approximately 14 acres (5.6 hectares), currently with no long-term development plans.

Parcel M is on the eastern tip of the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park and features an existing vacant building that was most recently used for motor vehicle related purposes.  Parcels 7 and 8 of M-1 are part of the Massport Marine Terminal. The property is leased by the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) through February 20, 2070 (including two 25-year option periods).

The site is approximately 132 nautical miles (244 km) from the leading edge of the offshore wind energy areas located south of Martha’s Vineyard, with no on-water overhead restrictions.
