The latest Massachusetts Clean Energy Industry Report shows that the Commonwealth’s clean energy sector is accelerating, now supporting more than 115,000 workers—twice the number employed in 2010.
The report also finds over 7,500 clean energy businesses statewide, with a majority located outside of Route 128. In total, the industry has added more than $15.9 billion to Massachusetts’ Gross State Product since 2012—a 74 percent increase.
