This position will also serve as QARI’s Energy Advocate for the Mass Save Community First Partnership, focusing on community outreach, resident education, and helping households navigate energy efficiency programs and overcome barriers to access.

We are seeking bilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Haitian Creole) candidates with a master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Public Health, Environmental Studies, or a related field who are passionate about community empowerment and equitable access to resources.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Support programming initiatives where QARI partners with external organizations, including community health centers, higher education institutions, and community-based organizations, to ensure successful collaboration and expand access to services for clients.

  • Provide compassionate case management, including referrals and assistance with documents such as applications, translations, and drafting letters, to help clients navigate critical systems.
  • Offer translation services and social support at mobile markets, food pantries, health centers, and other community partner sites, ensuring equitable access to essential services.
  • Plan and implement outreach events, workshops, and community activities that foster connection and provide valuable resources to underserved populations.
  • Lead community classes, workshops, and other educational group programs for clients at QARI’s office and external partner sites.
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs based on evolving community needs, maintaining an active and up-to-date skill set to support clients effectively.
  • Collect and document feedback from community members through surveys, focus groups, and outreach efforts, ensuring that client voices help shape future programming.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, providing personalized navigation and support to connect them with resources in health, education, and other essential services.
  • Engage with residents through events, presentations, and door-to-door canvassing, ensuring that QARI’s diverse offerings reach those who need them most.
  • Actively support outreach across QARI’s integrated focus areas, including health and wellness, literacy, workforce development, and community services such as citizenship education, ESOL classes, and family literacy programs.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach events, fostering community involvement and amplifying QARI’s impact on the populations it serves.
Qualifications
