Business Development Lead

RENEW Energy Partners is looking for a Business Development Lead to originate, structure, and close financed energy infrastructure projects across North America. This is a true hunter role with full responsibility for lead generation, pipeline creation, and transaction execution through financial close. The successful candidate will proactively develop energy project opportunities through direct outreach and market engagement—not through inbound lead flow.

RENEW is at the forefront of scaling an underserved asset class – C&I distributed energy assets. In a world with rapidly rising energy costs, aging infrastructure, reduced grid reliability, and increasing regulatory risk, we protect commercial and industrial businesses by designing, constructing, owning, and operating critical building energy systems. We are technology-agnostic, reflecting that businesses require site-specific solutions, not one-size-fits-all technologies

This role is ideal for a mid-career project originator (7 – 12 years of experience) who has closed structured energy or infrastructure transactions and is ready to own a personal pipeline within a growing platform. We want to help you grow, and to grow with you.

Success in this position is defined by the consistent origination and execution of Energy-as-a-Service, Power Purchase, Thermal Energy Purchase, and Energy Services Agreements across a wide array of energy generation, heating, and cooling technologies. We do not expect you to be an expert on all of them from day one (we have an in-house engineering team to help with that) – we want to you lead how to best price, contract, and deploy offtake agreements for those technologies.

About RENEW:

Renew Energy Partners (RENEW) provides off-balance sheet capital for mission-critical heating, cooling, and energy infrastructure for commercial and industrial customers. RENEW structures, finances, owns, and operates energy assets under long-term, fixed-price service agreements—eliminating upfront capital requirements and shifting performance, operating, and energy price risk off the customer’s balance sheet. With a 10+ year track record and over $100 million deployed across C&I projects, RENEW enables organizations to preserve capital, maintain financial flexibility, and invest in resilient, modern infrastructure without increasing leverage.

The Company provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected classification. Equal employment opportunity includes, but is not limited to, hiring, training, promotion, demotion, transfer, leaves of absence, and termination. The Company takes allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation seriously, and will promptly investigate when such behavior is reported.
