In order to maintain our development pipeline’s sustained and robust growth, we are seeking a hungry and self-motivated Development Associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an independent thinker, performance driven, and have a high level of social intelligence; as much of our business involves interfacing with high level business professionals, financiers and engineers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Business development, client outreach, prospecting, and managing existing relationships
  • Being the primary company liaison for communicating with clients and outside development partners, ensuring the development process is seamless and with a high-level of customer service
  • Coordinating with the company’s engineering, development, and financial teams throughout development to make sure critical deadlines are being hit during the pre-construction phase of project development
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office and Adobe to accomplish the other enumerated responsibilities

In addition, you will be expected to facilitate our work in developing projects by assisting with office management, interfacing with our accounting/tax teams, visiting our project sites, and managing deadlines associated with these activities. Leveraging your skills to keep ECA Solar at the forefront of our development efforts can take on many different forms. Emergent leadership is encouraged and rewarded.

Qualifications:

  • Are good at working in a team-focused environment
  • Held leadership roles in collegiate clubs/organizations, while enrolling in the tough courses and doing well
  • Routinely feel as if you would thrive in a meritocratic professional environment

Must have Skills/Background:

  • A demonstrated history in team-focused roles, participating in community outreach
  • Minimum 2-3 years in sales work.  Experience in real estate or energy sectors is preferrable

Nice to have Skills/experience/ competencies:

  • MA Solar Incentive Literacy
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Adobe Suites experience
  • Financial modeling skills/ excel spreadsheet development
  • Client/customer facing experience in sales, service or support preferred
  • Interest and proficiency building business relationships
