Solicitation - Massachusetts Offshore Wind Workforce Training and Development

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) invites applications for projects to advance offshore wind workforce training projects in Massachusetts.  Proposed projects must be responsive to high priority industry needs and opportunities, and must be designed to advance the offshore wind workforce, including through skills training and/or health, safety, and environmental training.

The lead applicant must be either (1) an accredited Massachusetts higher education institution offering 2 or 4 year degrees; (2) an accredited Massachusetts vocational school; (3) a community-based non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status and located in Massachusetts; (4) a local labor union; or (5) an established private workforce training provider in Massachusetts.  Applicants may be an individual company, organization or institution, or may be a team of such entities.

Applications must be submitted by email to nbolgen@masscec.com by Friday, November 30, 2018, and must contain "Solicitation – Offshore Wind Workforce" in the email subject line. Only complete responses will be considered.
