The PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant in-class training returns to Boston in April. This 5-day course is designed as the second phase of the CPHC Training Program following the on-line component. The in-class course focuses on design exercises, WUFI Passive and THERM software training, and the CPHC exam. PHIUS-trained CPHC® consultants are leading the adoption of passive building from coast to coast by designing and building quality-assured projects across all of North America's varied climate zones.

Tufts 10th Annual Water Symposium

This year, we’re particularly interested in exploring the new face of planning for the future, which involves more and more collaborations between historically separate stakeholders, and a movement towards working with water, rather than against it.

Case Studies in Appraising Green Residential Buildings

This one-day course introduces participants to valuation methods for appraising the high-performance house. Participants learn the appraisal procedures for valuing green residential properties to assist in supporting an opinion of value. The course focuses on the valuation process in different appraisal problems encountered in appraising green properties. The valuation process is examined as it applies in each of the three approaches to value. In-depth case studies will help participants develop their problem-solving skills in this new building technology.
