MassCEC is looking for a talented marketing, communications, business or journalism student to help produce and manage content for MassCEC’s marketing, social media, events, media and public outreach efforts on MassCEC’s fast-paced Operations team.
The fellow will assist the Director of Marketing and PR Manager by supporting marketing initiatives such as digital engagement with consumers and businesses, graphic design, market research, and event sponsorships. The fellow will also publish blog posts and success stories, prepare for MassCEC’s presence at public events and conferences, and support strategic communications projects.
The ideal candidate should be organized, have a strong sense of storytelling and be able to work independently with MassCEC staff to identify potential projects that would make visually compelling stories. The fellow will also work closely with the Digital Media fellow, who is also a part of the Special Operations Team. Team projects include social media strategy and analysis, event planning encompassing correspondence with partner organizations, online and phone research, and managing events and Board of Director meeting materials and logistics.
