This position is an opportunity for a knowledgeable renewable energy professional with an intensity of focus and an attention of detail to make a significant contribution to the improvement of PowerDash’s service quality and overall engagement with our customers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
  • Respond to technical specification inquiries from current commercial customers with equipment information, pricing, and quotes
  • Track progress of every commercial system activation from sales inquiry through any equipment quoting/ordering to completed system activation
  • Provide phone-based field support for PowerDash’s commercial solar/renewables customers on issues relating to networking, data acquisition, and metering
  • Train commercial customers to use PowerDash monitoring toolset effectively
  • Maintain and enhance technical support documentation in PowerDash Support portal
  • Coordinate resolution of individual system reporting issues with SREC, REC, and other incentive programs through communication with respective agencies
  • Manage device cellular plans and usage tracking with M2M cellular data services provider
Qualifications: 
  • 1-3 years of experience with monitoring software in commercial solar energy
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Expertise with industrial device networking, including Modbus data protocols and RS485/TCP network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with revenue-grade electrical metering and incentive reporting
  • Conscientious attention to detail
  • Strong, intuitive sense of integrity and ethics
