This position supports the execution of multiple marketing programs, advertising campaigns and sales initiatives in the company’s three operating states. The Marketing Specialist will ensure consistency with business branding and objectives and execute projects based on Eversource principles. This position requires close integration with key internal stakeholders, business and sales management, and the other members of the marketing outreach and communications team. The specialist will develop a solid understanding of our energy efficiency programs which will enable them to thoroughly answer questions received from customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be both a team player and individual contributor. Reports to the Marketing Manager of Energy Efficiency.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborates with members of the marketing team on the execution of marketing plans and campaigns
  • Coordinates with internal and external copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, and other vendors
  • Assists in the planning and execution of events, conferences, and sponsorships
  • Replies to and tracks correspondence received from customers in response to energy efficiency communications
  • Aggregates information from various sources to provide thorough, customized responses to customer questions or concerns
  • Collaborates with peers in energy efficiency and other areas of Eversource to obtain necessary information when not readily available
  • Crafts email responses with the goal of increasing customer engagement and satisfaction
  • Serves as main point of contact between energy efficiency and call centers; provides regular updates to information that allows customer service representatives better assist customers  
  • Participates in a continuous improvement team to facilitate departmental workflow processes. 
  • Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate
  • Travels approximately 10% of time

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Pays careful attention to detail
  • Be enthusiastic, a quick-learner and eager
  • Proficient/expert-level use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter with strong desire to learn
  • Results-driven, self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
