The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) is seeking consultants with expertise in solar photovoltaic (“PV”) systems, clean heating and cooling systems, the residential single-family and low-rise (3-stories or less) new construction market, stakeholder engagement, training, and education.
Solar PV and CH&C Training and Resource Services RFP
Through this Request for Proposals, MassCEC expects to hire one or more consultants to develop and deploy of a set of training courses and associated resources for Home Energy Rating System (HERS) raters, architects and engineers. Consultant(s) may submit proposals to provide services for one or both scopes:
- Scope I: Solar PV and solar hot water training and resource preparation for HERS raters, architects and engineers for residential single-family and low-rise (3-stories or less) new construction properties
- Scope II: Clean heating and cooling trainings for HERS raters, architect and engineer for residential single-family and low-rise (3-stories or less) new construction properties
Through these two scopes of work, MassCEC seeks both to increase awareness of clean energy technologies with the above stakeholders to increase incorporation of these technologies into residential new construction properties.
