RFP - Innovation at Wastewater Treatment Plants

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) has released a Request for Proposals and is now accepting applications for its Wastewater Treatment Innovative Technology Program to pilot innovative technologies at publicly-owned wastewater treatment utilities across the Commonwealth.

Eligible applicants can receive funding up to $150,000 per project. Applicant Teams must include two or more entities comprised of at least one publicly owned wastewater treatment district or authority and at least one innovative water technology provider.

Successful applications will propose meaningful pilots of innovative technologies that demonstrate a strong potential for commercialization while providing measureable energy efficiency benefits.

Applications are now open and can be found here. The deadline to submit an application is December 8th, 2017 at 4:00pm EST.
