Arif Padaria is the Managing Director of Investments at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).

Prior to joining MassCEC he was a partner at the Boston-based venture capital firm Pilot House Ventures (PHV), where he co-managed an early stage technology fund. Arif has been involved in innovative technology development since 1990. Prior to joining PHV, Arif managed a strategic investment fund at Microsoft directed toward Microsoft's top-tier global Independent Software Vendors. He was also a member of TVM Capital's technology investment team and an investment banker at Broadview, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the technology, media and communications sectors. In addition, he served in senior technical and management positions at both software startups and large software developers. He earned a M.S. and a B.S. in Computer Science, from Rutgers University, a MBA from Columbia University, and worked towards a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Princeton University.

 

 

Dennis Jin is an Investment Associate at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC)

 

Prior to joining MassCEC, Dennis was an associate Brookdale Advisors, a multi-strategy principal investments firm where he was the lead associate in evaluating and managing growth, distressed and buyout investment opportunities across various industries, including cleantech, internet, and semiconductors. As part of his responsibilities, he worked closely with portfolio companies to develop and refine their business and financial strategies. Other professional experiences include working at Deutsche Bank and Khazanah Nasional (Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund). Throughout his career, he made investment decisions worth $1.7 billion. Dennis earned a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a MA in International Affairs from Yonsei University and an Honors BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is also a CFA charterholder.

 

Salimah Nooruddin is an Investment Associate at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC)

Prior to joining MassCEC, she was an Associate at MassChallenge, a global startup competition and accelerator program, where she lead the marketing and communications for the founding team. As part of her responsibilities, she worked closely with startups, investors, and service providers across the 111 startup companies in the competition to develop the program in its inaugural year. Other professional experiences include working at Cambridge Strategic Management Group (a boutique strategy consulting firm focused on telecom and new media). Salimah earned her BA from Brown University in International Relations.
