Multi-Media Fellow

MassCEC is looking for a talented visual media professional to help produce content for MassCEC’s social media marketing and public outreach efforts. The Multimedia Fellow will be part of the communications team and be responsible for producing content for various outlets, including MassCEC’s website, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook pages. The fellow will work on content in various mediums including, photographs, video, and other multimedia. The ideal fellow should have a strong sense of storytelling and be able to work independently with MassCEC staff to identify potential projects that would make visual compelling stories.

 
Skills and Requirements:
  • Strong Oral and Written Communications Skills
  • Experience with communications and marketing through various types of Social Media including Flickr, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Strong experience with photography and multimedia production
  • Access to photography and video equipment, including editing tools 
  • Ability to work on deadline in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to events in Massachusetts
 
Education:
  • Graduate Degree in Progress. Preferred in the area of communications, marketing, or journalism/photojournalism.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in communications, marketing, or journalism/photojournalism.
 
Supervision: The fellow will work under the supervision of the Communications Manager at MassCEC.
