Incubators are programs that accelerate the successful development of start-up companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. These services are developed or orchestrated by incubator management and offered both in the business incubator and through its network of contacts. A business incubator’s main goal is to produce successful firms that will leave the program financially viable and freestanding. Incubator graduates have the potential to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, commercialize new technologies, and strengthen local and national economies. Advanced Technology Manufacturing Center at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth

The Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is located in the South Coast Research and Technology Park, near the intersection of Routes 195 and 24 in Fall River, within a 60,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art technology facility. The goal of the ATMC is to provide advanced technology and manufacturing solutions, through industry and university partnerships, to meet current and future business needs.
Association of Clean Tech Incubators of New England (ACTION)
The ACTION network is a consortium of cleantech incubators throughout New England that connects incubator management organizations, incubator tenants, and the broader clean energy community including investors, universities, and experienced executives.
Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC)

Clean Energy Fusion Center

The mission of the Clean Energy Fusion Center is to help build “clean energy” or “clean technology” businesses. We are located in the New England region and offer support, programs and activities to businesses at every stage, from start-ups to large organizations. The purpose of the Clean Energy Fusion Center is to provide a place to meet, build businesses and discuss the future of clean energy and technology.
CleanTech InnoVenture Center
Lynn
The Cleantech InnoVenture Center helps reduce the expense "burn-rate" of small clean technology companies while accelerating their time to revenue, encouraging growth and successful exit.
Their unique relationship with the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems gives portfolio companies access to technical resources and "know how" that is unparalleled in the clean energy sector.
Greentown Labs

Greentown Labs is in Boston's Innovation District. It has 14,000 square feet of versatile workspace and provides development space for early-stage clean energy companies. In addition to low-cost office space, members have access to a machine shop, shared tools, and common electronics lab.
Institute for Energy and Sustainability (IES)
Worcester
The Institute for Energy & Sustainability (IES) is central New England’s green business zone. Their mission is to attract clean energy technology and renewable energy companies to the region. Their priority is to create an environment for those seeking economic opportunity and advantage in this sector and to support the growth of jobs establishing a zone of world class clean technology companies
Newburyport Clean Tech Center
Newburyport
The Newburyport CleanTech Center (NCTC) supports the advancement of start-ups and more established companies that provide innovative and marketable approaches to solve many of the numerous environmental challenges we face today. NCTC provides critical resources to assist start-up businesses with early stage challenges, such as strategic planning, training, fiscal preparation, legal and regulatory changes, sales and marketing, and team development. The Center offers a combination of office, meeting, and assembly / shipping floor space in customized footprints as need.
“Greenhouse” at the New England Clean Energy Council

The New England Clean Energy Council offers incubator space to start-up clean energy companies. The incubator, also called the Greenhouse, includes conference room use, kitchen, desk space, and a great location in the downtown Boston area.
