DOE has released a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for about $12.93 million for approximately 42 awards to support training opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students that will provide the human capital and skills required for implementing and deploying CCS technologies. Training can be accomplished through fundamental research in the CCS technology area.  Each award is expected to be for approximately $300,000.  The anticipated period of performance is 3 years.  Cost sharing is encouraged but not required.  Eligible applicants are all universities, colleges, and college-affiliated research institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities or Other Minority Institutions (HBCUs/OMIs).  The application due date is August 11.
