DOE has released a FOA for 2 to 3 awards of $5 million per year for 5 years to support Industry Teams to continue the highly effective partnerships Building America has established to implement the research and technical support program for new and existing homes and for 2 to 4 awards of $5 million per year for 2 years to stimulate the existing home retrofit market through research and technical support to increase the efficiency gains and reduce the cost of retrofits. The cost share is 20% but 10% may be considered for all applicants and the cost share is waived for Indian tribes or Tribal Energy Resource Development Organizations. Eligible applicants are all types of domestic entities, including companies, non-profits, institutions of higher education, and local and state governments.
