Directions to the Clean Energy Center

Traveling to the Mass Clean Energy Center via Public Transportation

The Mass CEC is within walking distance from the Park Street and Downtown Crossing subway stations, as well as South Station. Navigate using the MBTA Trip Planner.
 

Walking from Park Street Station:
Cross Tremont Street and walk down Winter Street to Washington Street (Macy's will be on the corner). Continue past Macy’s on Summer Street and walk to the end of the block until you are at the corner of Arch Street and Summer Street. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center is located at 55 Summer Street, in the building above the CVS Pharmacy. Enter the door to the left of the CVS entrance. The CEC is located on the 9th floor.
 

Walking from Downtown Crossing Station:
There are several exits from the station.

Exiting from Washington Street: walk left on Washington Street until you see Summer Street on the right. Take a right on Temple. MAPC is located at 60 Temple Place.

Exiting from Hawley Street: walk left until you reach Summer Street. Walk left on Summer, towards the intersection of Chauncy and Summer streets. Enter 55 Summer Street next to the CVS.

Exiting from Chauncy Street: walk across Chauncy towards the CVS and enter 55 Summer Street.
 

Walking from South Station:
There are several exits from South Station.

Exiting from Summer Street: Walk left on Summer Street towards downtown Boston until you come to 55 Summer Street, which is on the left next to the CVS Pharmacy.

Exiting from Atlantic Avenue: Walk right on Atlantic Avenue towards Summer Street. Turn Left on Summer Street. 55 Summer Street is on your left, next to the CVS Pharmacy.
 

Driving to the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center:

From 93 South: Take I-93 South to exit “Purchase Street.” Turn right at Summer Street, turn left at Kingston Street. Then take the first right onto Bedford street. Turn right onto Bedford Street and the first right onto Summer Street. CEC is located at 55 Summer Street, at the intersection of Summer Street
 

From 93 North and/or Storrow Drive: Take I-93 N to exit 20 toward South Station. Continue on Lincoln Street. Turn left at Bedford Street Turn right at Chauncy St and then take the 1st right onto Summer Street.

From the Mass Pike (Route 90E): Take I-90 E/Massachusetts Turnpike to exit 24A “Downtown/South Station” on the left. At the bottom of the ramp turn left at the light onto Kneeland Street. Turn right at Lincoln Street. Turn left at Bedford Street. Turn right at Chauncy Street, and take the 1st right onto Summer Street.
