Commercial Scale Wind
The Commercial Wind program provides funding for development of responsibly sited commercial wind farms. Commercial Wind seeks to reduce the early stage risk by providing funding for site assessments, wind resource assessments, feasibility studies, development activities, and interconnection This program does not provide funding for construction activities.
MassCEC defines Commercial Wind projects as land-based projects that are greater than 2 MW and cannot be net metered. The wind project must have three turbines or more. For projects that do not meet these criteria, please review the Micro Wind or Community-Scale Wind program pages.
