DOE Deployment of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Systems, District Energy Systems, Waste Energy Recovery Systems, and Efficient Industrial Equipment

DOE has released a FOA for about $156 million for approximately 12 to 72 awards to deploy energy efficient technologies for combined heat and power (CHP), district energy systems, industrial waste energy recovery, and efficient industrial equipment.  The cost share is 50% but 25% may be considered with appropriate justification, except for efficient industrial equipment projects which require a cost share of at least 50%.  Eligible applicants are all types of domestic entities, including companies, non-profits, institutions of higher education, and local and state governments.  Other Federal agencies and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) contractors are not eligible applicants.
