Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light (MassIPL) is a statewide nonprofit that mobilizes communities of faith to respond to the climate emergency. In 2021, MassIPL is launching a Solar Equity Project to bring the economic and environmental benefits of solar installation to houses of worship in environmental justice communities, including the 26 Gateway Cities prioritized by MassCEC. MassIPL is committed to faith-based environmental stewardship, racial justice, and social equity.
