Installer Resources - HeatSmart Mass
As part of the HeatSmart Massachusetts program, MassCEC will issue installer request for proposals (RFPs) to the clean heating and cooling industry once communities have been selected. Once an installer RFP is available, MassCEC will post it to this webpage. Interested installers can sign up for clean heating and cooling program email updates to be notified for when new requests are released.
All resulting clean heating and cooling projects contracted by Installers that are selected to participate in a community HeatSmart Mass program will be required to have meet MassCEC’s rebate program requirements for the relevant clean heating and cooling technology, linked below.
Code of Conduct
All installers who participate in the HeatSmart Mass program are bound by MassCEC's Code of Conduct.
Quality Assurance Process for MassCEC Programs
All installers who participate in the HeatSmart Mass program may be selected for inspection.
Active Request for Proposals
The Installer RFP closed for most of the participating communites and associated technologies on 1/5/18, however, he Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) are still seeking proposals from installers of air-source heat pumps to serve the Nantucket or Great Barrington communities.
